This issue has been resolved. You are able to approve purchase invoices in a closed period without getting an invalid error. Our apologies for the inconvenience.

When approving purchase invoices in a closed period you will receive the error message: 'Period is closed'. However, after closing the screen the invoice will still be approved. We have identified this issue and are preparing a fix which will ensure that purchase invoices can be approved in closed periods without this error. We will update this page as soon as new information becomes available. Our apologies for the inconvenience.
