You may experience that on the overview page of the 2025 income tax return, the amount can be both shown as income tax payable and income tax receivable for the same return. If these texts are inconsistent on this page, the text at the top of the page is incorrect, whilst the text further down the page beneath tax calculation (Belastingberekening) is correct.
